Joining Tyneside Vagabonds
Tyneside Vagabonds Cycling Club (TVCC) uses membermojo for membership and the Spond platform for communication between members.
Spond is where the important information about the club is to be found: such as events, social rides and communications from other members. To access that information you need to be a member of the club and a member of Spond. So before clicking the membermojo link below, and leaving this page, please read a little bit about Spond.
We recommend that you download the Spond App (available, for free, for both iPhone and Android) on a Smart Phone and join Spond. [You can do much the same with Spond on a web browser, but you must use a laptop or desk top to do so, hence it is less available than the App.] You won’t see any TVCC information on the App, except the logo, until you have joined the club through membermojo. Once you have joined the club, go to Spond and use the group code ODOUL to join the TyneVags Spond group to access the club activities calendar. Minors: provision for Guardian is available within Spond, so a minor can and should be the member of Spond, but communication outside Spond is via the Guardian. The TVCC Go-Ride group uses a sub-group on Spond restricted to minors, their guardians and coaches.
To access TVCC membership types and fees (maximum fee £20) click the membermojo link (below) where you will be asked to provide some personal data relevant to your membership. You can add family members (one adult and any minors) if you wish. Submitting the form alerts the membership secretary to your intention to join TVCC. You will receive a subsequent e-mail requesting payment. TVCC require a signed Parental Consent Form for any minor to join the club; obtainable from the Go-Ride team or the membership secretary.
Note: TVCC does not provide insurance. We strongly recommend that you obtain cycling insurance separately.
