The club organises a series of Audax events in the region.
Following the successful completion of the 2023 Audax season, we can now look forward to the programme of events for 2024. Entries for all our Audax events are now open, (except the Solway Coast C2C2C on 20/7/24 and the Borders and Flatlands Thousand on 23/8/24 which are now full). An Audax ride is a cycle ride that has to be completed within a set time limit, including any stops to eat or rest. For most people the time limits aren’t an issue and it’s just a good value, enjoyable day out. An internet search for ‘what is an Audax’ or ‘riding my first Audax’ will bring up some useful results, or alternatively just enter one and have a go, there’s always plenty of help and advice.
It’s not a race and individual riders’ times are not published; if you finish within the time limit, you’ve succeeded.
